Heart disease

Heart disease, also called “cardiovascular disease” simply refers to a disease affecting the heart. It has been shown to be the top cause of death in the US. Heart disease can be classified into many kinds of cardiovascular conditions such as coronary artery disease or CAD, heart defects which are congenital, heart muscle disorders, heart rhythm disorders such as arrhythmia, and heart infection and inflammation such as myocarditis, pericarditis, and endocarditis. Coronary artery disease is the most common form of heart disease, and this condition can ultimately result in a heart attack.
