Yanhee Hospital had humble beginnings. It started out as a small outpatient clinic founded by Dr. Supot Sumritvanitcha and his closest fellow doctor friends after they graduated from medical school.

Back then, they named it “Yanhee Polyclinic” inspired by the Yanhee electric power station within the vicinity.

They thought it would be an easy way to find directions to the clinic. Today, Yanhee Hospital is one of the most reputable, esteemed, and lucrative hospitals in Bangkok.

They’ve attended to clients from 162 different countries, with 75% of whom are repeat customers or heard about the hospital through word of mouth.

Yanhee Hospital Medical Team and Facilities

The team behind Yanhee Hospital is comprised of over 800 nurses, 120 part-time medical staff, and 150 full-time doctors.

All of them speak fluent English and even provide a free translation service for foreign clients to guarantee smooth communication.

The building is fifteen storeys tall, has 400 hospital beds, a nursery, and Intensive Care Unit with 18 beds, emergency rooms, 95 outpatient examination rooms, and an on-site laboratory for diagnostic tests.

It also has accreditation from the Joint Commission International since 2000.

I used the services of Yanhee Hospital back in 2018 for a Lasik surgery. A bit factory style in the way staff is processing the patients but you can’t beat the value. Still felt safe, clean, professional. Very well organized with frequent follow ups post surgery. My vision is still perfect almost 2 years after :)
